Gold Coin Stew

Once upon a time a beautiful girl named Amy went on a long journey to a little town named Tifea. She was very kind, but sneaky. She saw a palace and knocked on the door and pretended she had fainted so when a man opened the door he quickly brought the girl inside. He saw that Amy was carrying a bag, and in the bag was a pot of gold and a large spoon. The man shook Amy, she opened her eyes straight away and grabbed hold of her bag. She took out the pot, coin and spoon. Amy put the coin in the pot, and asked the man to get her a bunch of peas and onions. So off the man went, he came back with them. He gave them to Amy, she mixed them up, then asked for some salt and pepper so the man went to get the spices for Amy. He came back and gave them to her, and then once more she mixed them up. The man asked if there was any thing else “No thanks its all done” said Amy excitedly. Then both of them ate the whole lot. The man said, “This stew is great! Thank you.”

But Amy said, “You can never tell any one my secret ingredient.”

“I promise,” said the man and off Amy went.
